For registration of a child born outside Zimbabwe, the following documents are required:
- The Child’s long birth certificate (from country of birth)
- Both Parent’s birth Certificates
- Both parents’ Zimbabwean National Registration Cards (If they are Zimbabwean);
- Both Parents’ passports
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- A fee of £25 which should be paid in cash or postal order
Also, bring copies of every original document that is listed above.
When the forms have been completed and signed by the Embassy, it is the applicant’s responsibility to send these to the Registrar General’s Office through a next of kin in Zimbabwe and to pay for the requisite fees.
